Davido and Chioma's son is dead

Popular Nigerian singer Davido's three-year-old son, Ifeanyi, was reported to have passed away in a suspected swimming pool accident by the police spokesperson in Lagos, Benjamin Hundeyi, on Tuesday morning.

Late on Monday, the actress Eniola Badmus announced the tragic news of the singer's son's passing on her Instagram. The post was later removed by her.

Some of the singer's assistants and employees, according to a source, had been detained. Eight of them (the workers) have been hauled in for questioning, he declared. He kept the location a secret out of concern that the station would come under siege. It was a station on Lagos Island, he claimed. According to reports, the three-year-old from Lagos drowned in the family's swimming pool and was submerged for an undetermined amount of time before being discovered. He supposedly received emergency medical attention and was pronounced dead there.
